Due to infrastructure vandalism at Crescent Park we are not accepting event holds or rental applications for park spaces until further notice. 

The French Market District offers venues for any occasion and size, including birthday parties, pop-ups, family reunions, picture perfect weddings, corporate events and more!

Crescent Park Venues

Mandeville Shed & Ellipse Lawn

The Mandeville Shed is a former industrial wharf space that has been repaired and converted into an open-air community and event space and includes restroom facilities. At the edge of the Mandeville Shed is the Mandeville Ellipse, a raised grass lawn. This space is perfect for a large wedding or corporate event overlooking the river, with the convenient location adjacent to the French Quarter.

Piety Wharf

Piety Wharf is a former industrial wharf space that has been repaired to provide sweeping views of the Mississippi River and New Orleans skyline. This hip venue has a great industrial vibe that provides the perfect backdrop for any mid sized event!

Piety Gardens

The Piety Gardens follow the lines of former train tracks to the wharves. These beautiful gardens with the Piety St footbridge are the perfect space for a pop up wedding.

Piety Picnic Area

The Piety Picnic Area features six round tables, 2 of which are ADA accessible. Reserve this space for a seated picnic in the park.

Kick About Greenspace

The Downriver “Kickabout” section of Crescent Park is located between the Piety Wharf and Mazant Street Ramp entrance.  In this portion of Crescent Park, the banks of the Mississippi River include a natural river batture ecosystem. Spread out in this great space for a birthday party or family reunion.

French Market Venues

Oscar Dunn Park – 768 Decatur Street

Located directly across from Jackson Square Oscar Dunn Park offers iconic views of St. Louis Cathedral and the Mississippi River. The park also includes the amphitheater with frontage on Decatur Street.

Dutch Alley

Dutch Alley’s intimate picturesque setting is tucked away from public view in the French Market District.  With slate tile, string lights, and a covered pavilion it is a perfect spot to host a small to medium sized event.

Flea Market Pavilion

The large open-air Flea Market Pavilion is the ideal for hosting large-scale events offering indoor/outdoor activation space for your guests.  Set against a historic French Quarter backdrop, directly adjacent to the Old. U.S. Mint., the Flea Market Pavilion comfortably holds 300 -500 people.  Please note that the Flea Market Pavilion is available for rent on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday only.  

Please note: All events in the French Market District must be authorized by the French Market Corporation and processed through the New Orleans One-Stop Office for permitting.
